Width of a roller blind

1. the width of the window recess multiplied by two, e.g. 10 cm, i.e. a vertical blind will cover the recess from both sides on 10 cm.

2. the width of the entire wall to which a vertical blind is to be attached, in such a situation the whole width should be reduced by, for instance, 5 cm to install the rail of a vertical blind without any problems.

Height of a roller blind

1. the distance from the ceiling to the window sill should be reduced by 3-4 cm to prevent slats from lying on the window sill.

2. the height of the window recess increased by approx. 10 cm, such a solution should be applied, for instance, in high rooms when you want to cover only the window opening, in such a case, special angle brackets should be used, this fact should be mentioned in the order

3. the distance from the ceiling to the floor should be reduced by 3-4 cm to prevent slats from lying on the floor

Important information:

make sure that there are no contradictions to install a vertical blind in a given place, that there are no obstructions in the form of a radiator or pipes, etc. Make sure that the slats would not be leaning against or lying on such object.
